L is for Love, Ladybirds and Leaves!

We chose someone to write a love message to, drew a picture of them and used our knowledge from phonics to help us write their name, as well as our own! We also looked for lots of objects in a bowl full of foam (it was very slimy!), working out what each one was and trying to sound out the word.

L is also for leaves and ladybirds. We practised our numbers by painting different amounts of spots onto our own ladybird.

We created leaf people by drawing and sticking arms, legs and faces onto leaves that we had collected and brought into school. Our teachers were so impressed with how they looked, do you like them?
